VIDEO: 3 firefighters injured after store signs come crashing down at New York fire

Three firefighters were injured after two giant store signs came crashing down at the scene of a fire in Washington Heights. Flames broke out at 1281 St Nicholas Ave. near 174th Street just before 2:30 p.m. Saturday. The firefighters had just finished putting out a fire that swept through the stores - a snack shop and a beauty salon.

Salt Lake City Fire Department unveils state-of the-art bright green fire truck

VIDEO: The Salt Lake City Fire Department has taken possession of a new state-of-the-art airport rescue vehicle now stationed at Salt Lake City International Airport’s Fire Station 12. The new bright yellow-green vehicle is a brand new 2023 Rosenbauer Panther apparatus or ARFF (Airport Rescue Firefighting Rig) as the firefighters at the station call it.

VIDEO: Downtown Los Angeles street takeover ends in inferno

PHOTOS: Video shows a wild street takeover in downtown Los Angeles coming to a fiery conclusion overnight. Preliminary information from stringer service OnSceneTV indicates the takeover occurred at the intersection of 18th and Main streets before 3 a.m. Saturday. A Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson confirmed the location and stated that upwards of 50 cars were present.

The unique way one Colorado fire department is spreading awareness of firework safety in the community

South Fork Fire continues to burn southwest of Naches

The Fire US Forest Service is reporting minimal growth for the lightning caused South Fork Fire burning 25 miles southwest of Naches. Fire activity is low and suppression activities were aided by moisture received over the fire area on Saturday, June 29. Due to improved mapping, the fire is estimated to be 27 acres.
