17 on board bus that caught fire near Snoqualmie Pass

VIDEO: 17 passengers are likely reeling after they were forced to flee a bus that's now been reduced to a shell of what it was after it was engulfed in flames on Tuesday near Snoqualmie Pass. The incident, which caused considerable disruption along a busy stretch of I-90, saw emergency services rush to the scene near Exit 47, west of Snoqualmie Pass, following the alert.

New logo reflects history of Connecticut fire company and town

IMAGE: The Middlefield Fire Company has a new logo that brings "aspects from our fire company history as well as a few details about our town." The logo is separate from the company's traditional patch and seal, which will still be displayed on uniforms. Fire rescue in Colorado goes through first-of-its-kind de-escalation training

VIDEO: Aurora Fire Rescue crew members are completing de-escalation training to help crew members respond to people experiencing a crisis. Despite paramedics regularly responding to these types of calls, de-escalation training is pretty rare within fire departments. “I’ve been doing this for 34 years and it’s nothing we’ve ever formally done, and it seems like the right time and place to bring this to life,” said Aurora Fire Rescue’s training chief, Commander Mark Hays.

Fire at dog daycare in Seattle forces evacuations, some dogs go missing

Several dogs were evacuated from a dog daycare in Seattle's SODO neighborhood Monday night when a fire broke out on the second floor of the Dog Resort.
