VIDEO: The Spokane Valley Fire Department responded to a fire this morning near N Adams and E Rockwell Avenue at 3:15 a.m. The flames have been extinguished and investigators are currently looking into the cause of the fire. The home has suffered some damage, but the three adults living at the residence managed to escape uninjured with two dogs.

Deputies recently arrested two teenagers suspected of vandalizing numerous structures, including Puyallup School District buildings and a newly built house, causing more than $700,000 in damages, Pierce County Sheriff’s Department announced Wednesday. The Yakima Fire Department is relying on backup vehicles after two fire engines were damaged in separate crashes over the weekend. “We are not quite sure of the damage or how long they’re going to be out of service at this time,” Deputy Fire Chief DJ Goldsmith said. The Yakima Police Department is investigating both incidents.
