VIDEO: Level 3 Evacuation orders were issued Sunday in the Rex Creek area of Lake Chelan due to a wildfire that has grown to 300 acres, according to the Washington State Department of Natural Resources (DNR).
The DNR responded to the Pioneer Fire located approximately 31 miles northwest of Chelan near the east shore.

PHOTOS: A suspect believed to have shot a man at a downtown Miami apartment complex and ignited a 3-alarm fire that engulfed the building has been taken into custody, authorities said Monday evening.
Miami Police confirmed the identity of the suspect in the shooting and fire at the Temple Court Apartments as 73-year-old Juan Francisco Figueroa.

VIDEO/PHOTOS: Firefighters responded to a fire in a commercial building Monday morning in Pierce County.
Crews battled what they called a two-alarm fire in the Watson Signature Event Center at 11521 Bridgeport Way SW. The event center is next to an apartment complex where about a dozen people live.
“The smoke got thicker and a lot stronger, and that's when they came and knocked on the door and said there was a fire, so then we evacuated at that point,” said Rhonda Gallert, one of the evacuees.
