PHOTOS: A male worker that was reported unconscious within a chemical transport tank was rescued Tuesday afternoon.
According to a tweet from Salt Lake City Fire Department, heavy rescue and hazmat teams arrived on scene for rescue efforts. SLC Fire Captain Anthony Burton said they responded to a situation around 2 p.

COVID-19 hospitalizations are once again ticking upward after a lull in October and early November, with tens of thousands more Americans filling hospital beds across the country in the past four weeks.
The increase is particularly noticeable in the Rust Belt and the Southwest. As of Wednesday, Michigan's population-adjusted rate is highest in the nation, followed by Indiana, Ohio and Pennsylvania.

Fire crews are battling a massive blaze in downtown Olympia, which started early Wednesday around 5 a.m. The large commercial fire started in a five-story building still under construction on Capitol Way N between Thurston Avenue NW and Olympia Avenue NW, according to the Olympia Fire Department. The fire then spread to at least three other buildings.

Five suspicious fires, one after the other, broke out near several businesses.
KOMO News spoke with The Tukwila Fire Department, we were told are investigating the five fires at four different locations. Three are along Industry Drive.
Two others were a dumpster fire near West Valley and 164th and a garbage fire at the Embassy Suites nearby.

Firefighters are back on the scene of yet another fire in the region early Wednesday.
West Pierce Fire and Rescue posted a photo of the large fire at a commercial business in the 9600 block of Gravelly Lake Drive. The building is vacant.
No more information was available, but officials are asking Lakewood residents to avoid the area.
