She was joined by officials from the Department of Natural Resources Thursday to review the 2023 wildfire season, highlight some of the year’s successes, detail upcoming improvements and "celebrate interagency partnerships.

VIDEO: Massive Florida house fire started in the garage

Firefighters battled an early morning blaze Thursday after a fire broke out in the garage of a Miami Springs home, officials said. The fire broke out around 4:20 a.m. at a home located at 851 Hunting Lodge Drive in Miami Springs. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue Division Chief Marc Chavers said when crews arrived, they found heavy flames coming from the home's garage.

Colorado fire rescue launches ‘tiered response’ to emergency calls

VIDEO: Aurora Fire Rescue is changing the way it responds to certain calls as part of a new effort to better use resources. As of Wednesday, the department is now operating on a “tiered response approach,” allowing the department to dispatch units based on the severity of the incident they’re responding to.

5-year-old steals the show at Tennessee First Responders Salute event dressed as her firefighter uncle

New Arkansas laws meeting essential needs of firefighters as mental health struggles become more evident

The Arkansas Professional Firefighters Association is shedding light on two new laws in the state looking to meet some of the most essential needs for their responders. The union recently selected Sen. Clarke Tucker (D-Little Rock) as their legislator of the year after his help with two bills that became law in the recent legislative session.
