A tornado touched down Tuesday in Adams County, Iowa, toppling several wind turbines and leaving behind a trail of damage. The tornado touched down just northwest of Prescott around 3 p.m. Tuesday as a line of severe storms pushed into the state. KCCI's Zane Satre witnessed the storms touching down first-hand.

While two Gonzaga University students were sleeping, a man broke into the home they rent on East Augusta Avenue, barricaded himself in one of the bedrooms and lit the door on fire, before he was arrested by police early Monday morning. “Just another day, another life,” Thomas Follet, one of the students, said.
