Snoqualmie volunteer firefighter Robert Angrisano was honored with a medal of merit from the King County Fire Chiefs Association for his outstanding leadership that positively impacted the agency and community.
Angrisano, who joined the Snoqualmie Fire Department in 2014, has been instrumental in many programs.

A structure fire on Wednesday night in Cowiche happened at a fruit warehouse.
The fire broke out on the 1100 block of Livengood Road at what appears to be an apple storage facility.
Multiple fire departments responded to the fire including Sunnyside, West Valley, Naches, and West Benton fire-rescue.

Firefighters with the St. Tammany Fire Protection District No. 11 battled a massive house fire overnight.
The fire broke out at a home on Allen Crawford Road near Pearl River sometime around 10:00 p.m. Wednesday and was under control at about 1:00 a.m. Thursday.
The fire department says everyone inside got out and was safe before the fire consumed the entire house.
