VIDEO: The number of first responders who have died from 9/11-related illnesses now almost equals the number of firefighters who died during the terror attacks themselves.
A total of 341 New York City Fire Department firefighters, paramedics and civilian support staff who died from post-911 illnesses are now memorialized at the FDNY World Trade Center Memorial Wall, according to the Uniformed Firefighters Association.

VIDEO: A person is dead after a house fire in Bonney Lake trapped them inside a one story-home.
East Pierce firefighters were dispatched shortly after 10 p.m. Saturday night to a residential fire at the 18200 block of 95th Loop St E. Dispatchers received reports that a person was trapped inside the burning home.

PHOTOS: According to Kennewick Fire Department Fire Chief, Chad Michael the Zintel Canyon Fire on the afternoon of September 8, may have been human-caused.
At 1:16 p.m. KFD was called to a Natural Cover Fire behind the Kennewick Irrigation District administrative building.
When crews arrived it was found that a large black collumn of smoke was coming from the Canyon.

Crews are investigating after a massive fire broke out in a mobile home park in Lacey early Saturday morning.
Just after midnight, firefighters with the Lacey Fire Department (LFD) responded to reports of a fire in the 6800 block of Martin Way E.
Upon arrival, crews found a mobile home completely engulfed in flames, which were spreading to two additional homes.

Cowlitz County firefighters responded to multiple trash fires outside of businesses in Kelso early Sunday morning.
Cowlitz 2 Fire & Rescue said just before 4:30 a.m. Sunday, firefighters and Longview firefighters responded to Boondox convenience store on West Cowlitz Way in Kelso. When they arrived, they found a dumpster at the back of the building fully engulfed in flames.
