An investigation is underway after two unoccupied cars caught fire in North Spokane early Wednesday morning.
The cars may have been set on fire in the area of Northstar Lane and North Cedar at about 2:30 a.m. on Wednesday, according to Spokane Police Officer John O'Brien.
Spokane County Fire District 9 has fire investigators currently looking at the scene for signs of arson, Assistant Fire Chief Doug Bleeker said.

A man who went into cardiac arrest while working out at a Seattle gym got a chance to thank the quick-thinking bystander who saved his life.
Thomas Loop was training at Emerald City Boxing when he suddenly had a heart attack.
A fellow gym-goer, Amos Wiedmaier, luckily knew CPR and immediately stepped in once he realized what was happening.

West Thurston Regional Fire Authority celebrated a life saved Friday by passing around heart pins to put on their shirts and gathering to pose for a picture.
They publicized the celebration on their Facebook page and also took the time to tell the public about the extensive opportunities West Thurston Fire offers to learn about CPR.

That’s why the emergency room doctor, who also serves as the medical director of the Arlington County Fire Department, began studying hundreds of autopsies from victims of mass shootings years ago.
