The Pasco Fire Department is adding two new fire stations to the city in hopes to improve response times and firefighter safety. The Sheriff’s Office is investigating after hay bales bearing the words “TRUMP 2020” were reportedly set on fire. Deputies responded to a report of an incident involving arson near the intersection of Grandview and Enterprise Roads at about 1:30 am Sunday, February 16. Fire District personnel ultimately extinguished the fire that destroyed eleven bales of hay that were covered in white plastic and painted to say “TRUMP 2020.

A woman has pleaded guilty in connection to a string of arson fires last year in the Soap Lake area. Alexandra Gray, a 22-year-old Ephrata resident, pleaded guilty Tuesday morning to three counts of second-degree reckless burning. Gray was initially charged with two counts of second-degree arson and two counts of second-degree burglary but the charges were amended as part of a plea agreement.
