The Pasco Fire Department is partnering with the Pasco School District to teach school nurses how to use trauma kits. The department's paramedics and staff will hold a special training event to show how the "Stop the Bleed" kits can save a life. The Department of Homeland Security's Stop the Bleed initiative turns bystanders into rescuers by giving them the training and tools they need to save lives.
