A fast-moving fire gutted a single-story house on the 11200 block of Rhody Drive in Port Hadlock on Friday, East Jefferson Fire-Rescue officials said.
There were no injuries but the home was destroyed, agency spokesman Bill Beezley said.
One of the three occupants noticed lights flicker and opened a bedroom door to find an electrically-heated blanket on an electric cord on fire at about 3:13 p.

The two mountain bikers did what they were supposed to do when they noticed a mountain lion tailing them on a trail east of Seattle.
They got off their bikes. They faced the beast, shouted and tried to spook it. After it charged, one even smacked the cougar with his bike, and it ran off.
It wasn't enough, authorities said.

Spokane Valley firefighters traded in their fire truck for a specially designed communications trailer this week to help with flood relief in Okanogan County.
John Nelson, with the Spokane Valley Fire Department, said the crew he's with sets up radio networks to make it safer and easier for responders to stay in touch and keep up with flood relief.

Equipment has been stolen from a fire station in Yakima County, firefighters say.
Firefighters with the Yakima County Fire District 5 said one of their 16 stations was burglarized Thursday morning.
The alleged thief or thieves made off with $35,000 to $40,000 worth of equipment.
Two brand new self-contained breathing apparatus, a generator, a circular saw, a chain saw, air lifting bags, a tool box and some fire department protective clothing used to respond to emergencies were missing in this incident.

Rousseau has lined up a fire muster in Webster this weekend, Memorial Day ceremonies in Framingham and Fourth of July parades in Natick and Sudbury.
