3 injured after fire department tanker collides with semi in Ohio

PHOTOS: Three people were taken to the hospital after a crash involving a local fire department’s tanker truck and a semi-truck in Canton Saturday morning. The crash happened around 10:27 a.m. in the 2800 block of Faircrest Street SW. According to Canton fire officials, an East Sparta Fire Department tanker truck was heading to a fire at the PSC Metals facility in Canton Township when it collided with a semi-truck, causing the semi to flip onto its side.

Hundreds rescued as storms move across Texas; Child dies after being swept away in floodwaters

VIDEOS/PHOTOS: Storms in Texas brought additional rain Sunday to the already saturated Houston area where hundreds of people have been rescued from flooded homes and roads, while to the north in the Fort Worth area, a child died after being swept away when the car he was traveling in got stuck in floodwaters.

Georgia fire museum vandalized by ax-wielding man

VIDEO: A man was booked into the Cobb County jail after police say he got inside the Marietta Fire Museum and went on a rampage, causing significant damage. The free museum is filled with equipment and tools used by the Marietta Fire Department dating back to 1854. Capt. Steven Dau oversees the Marietta Fire Museum.

Multiple fire crews tackle Selah fire

PHOTOS: May 5th saw firefighters from Yakima Training Center responding to a mutual aid request to assist the Selah Fire Department with structure fire on Selah Loop Road. By the time crews arrived, the home was nearly fully involved. Crews from City of Yakima Fire Department, Yakima County Fire District 4 - East Valley, and Gleed Fire Department worked together to bring the fire under control.

Woman injured in Clarkston storage unit fire

PHOTOS: A woman was injured and taken to the hospital after her storage unit caught on fire. Asotin County Fire District 1 (ACFD) and Lewiston Firefighters responded to a large fire in a storage unit in the 2200 block of Appleside Boulevard in Clarkston Heights around midnight on Saturday, May 4. Fire crews reported that two storage units within a large facility had flames and smoke showing.
