A wildfire burning along Highway 410 has scorched 120 acres of grass and brush since igniting Tuesday afternoon, and so far there's no estimate on when it will be contained. A brush fire in Orting that started Tuesday night threatened homes and continues to burn Wednesday morning. It started at about 9:30 p.m. and burned more than five acres 3.5 miles southwest of South Prairie off Pioneer Way East. About 60 firefighters from multiple fire departments worked to put out the flames as the fire burned up a slope, coming about 100 feet from homes.

South Saint Paul, MN—Waterous has appointed of Dan Reese to the position of vice president of operations, effective August 21, 2017. This new position was created to oversee the increased demand of manufacturing due to the rise in domestic and international sales. More than 20 people - including a veteran Houston police officer - have died or are feared dead in the Houston area in flooding triggered by Tropical Storm Harvey, according to local officials. Among those is a family of six reported missing after their van was overtaken by floodwaters in east Houston Sunday afternoon near Greens Bayou.
