State officials say a Presho volunteer firefighter died of a medical condition at the scene of a weekend fire.
According to the South Dakota Fire Marshal's Office, 54-year-old Donald Manger died Saturday while working at a structure fire in rural Lyman County.
Authorities say Manger experienced a medical condition, then collapsed to the ground.

Santa Rosa firefighter Brandon Palmer has fought big blazes in his 20 years on the job, but the 81-hour shift he spent fighting the fire storm in his own neighborhood last week was still stunning.
"It's crazy to watch your hometown be annihilated by fire," he said, back at his Santa Rosa firehouse. "It just takes your breath away.

VIDEO - Berkeley Fire Department received the call for help early Monday morning. They sent an engine north to Santa Rosa to help with what they thought was a "large grass fire."
When the strike team, made up of both Berkeley and San Francisco firefighters, arrived in Santa Rosa before sunrise, they were stunned to see the scope of the already massive Tubbs Fire.

"It's something inside of you. You gotta go you gotta go, said Glenn Brubaker.
He's 101 years old. He's been volunteering at the Urbana Volunteer Fire Department in Frederick County for more than 40 years.
"You don't get tired. Tired! I have never used that word in my life," said Glenn.

A contract firefighter who was driving a water tender truck was killed Monday morning when it went off the road and crashed in Napa County near the Nuns Fire, Cal Fire officials said.
The truck overturned about 6:50 a.m. on Oakville Grade, about two miles west of Highway 29. The driver was working the 48,000-acre Nuns Fire that's burning in Napa County, Cal Fire Chief David Shew said.
