Three people, including a child, fell an estimated 15 feet from a Ferris wheel ride at a festival on Thursday.
An injured 59-year-old woman had to be airlifted to a hospital. She is in critical but stable condition.
Firefighters said the whole tub tipped over before they fell.
The accident occurred at Port Townsend's annual Rhododendron Festival carnival.

Spokane firefighter Jhareme Fuller didn’t know until arriving at Thursday’s Lilac Festival luncheon that he was there to be recognized as the firefighter of the year.
And if that wasn’t surprise enough, Fuller’s table included his wife, Carolyn, and four other family members, some of whom had traveled across state lines to be there.

A garage fire Thursday afternoon heavily damaged the building and destroyed a vehicle inside, the Yakima Fire Department said.
Firefighters were dispatched to the 200 block of South Seventh Street shortly after 4 p.m., according to a department news release.
The first crews arrived to find smoke coming from the eaves.
