Franklin County Fire District 3 receives new water tender

If you live near the Pasco Kahlotus Highway, there is good news for you! Franklin County Fire District three has a new fire apparatus that will be in use this month. The water tender will be placed in service at fire station 31. Of the six fire stations in the district, three of them have water tenders.

Mountlake Terrace, Brier firefighters to retire

Snohomish County Fire District 1 will honor Capt. Dan Tobin, Firefighter David Arnim and Firefighter David Pelham at a retirement ceremony at 9 a.m., Monday, Oct. 19, at Martha Lake Fire Station 21, 16819 13th Ave. W., Lynnwood. Tobin served as a firefighter for more than 34 years, most recently as a captain at Brier Fire Station 18.
