Fairytale Farm Animal Sanctuary teamed up with Winston-Salem firefighters for their 2023 calendar shoot. The brave men and women took photos with sheep, goats, rabbits, turkeys and even some ducks.

It's a problem that shows no signs of slowing down as multiple law enforcement agencies have reiterated the dangers of this drug.
There's a new treatment for combating fentanyl overdose many first responders are using called ZIMHI, which is administered like an epipen through the thigh and provides a stronger dose of naloxone into the body.

San Francisco firefighters fear the “Cancer Sniper.” It’s how they refer to the deadly disease that struck down many of their comrades.

Spokane firefighters put out a fire in the East Central neighborhood Wednesday night.
The blaze broke out in the 3200 block of East Sprague near Axels Pawn Tools & Gold. The Spokane Fire Department says a trailer and an outbuilding were lost in the fire.
Avista responded to the scene to de-energize fallen power lines.

Yakima Fire Department #4 is going to be getting some new equipment after receiving a grant for being local heroes.
Gesa Credit Union (GCU) is rewarding the station nearly $5,000 for new fire saws.
"They asked for funds for two of these saws that way they can continue to allow their firefighters to gain access into buildings to provide the best service to our communities as possible," Angie Brotherton, AVP of community relations and impact at GCU, said.
