Caldwell (ID) Fire Station Aims to Improve Response Times

Caldwell’s new fire station has a mission to improve emergency response times, reports Idaho Press.

The fire department posted to Facebook, “Welcome to the newly opened Caldwell Fire Station 3. Located on Skyway and KCID, this station houses our 103 Engine Company and will help reduce response times in the area. Thanks to Beniton Construction you can get a sneak peak today. A special thanks to Zero Gravity Drone for the epic video.”

Fire crews working from the station will now have access to a workout room and the entire station is outfitted with UV-C lighting which kills viruses, bacteria, and mold.

The station features two specially designed washers and a dryer for used gear, and a self-contained breathing apparatus washer.
