Fire Station To Reopen In Downtown Muncie After Nearly A Decade

MUNCIE, Ind. - For nearly a decade, Muncie has not had a fire station downtown, but a new business deal could help improve the safety of the neighborhood. Fire station No. 1, built in 1905, was said to have several structural issues by architects years ago, and other area firefighters were called to serve the downtown area.
