Ohio Fire Department Gets Bullet Proof Vests

(TNS) - Ohio's Village of Geneva on the Lake fire department recently received 17 bullet proof vests. Fire Captain Andy Kaschalk said the department received the high-strength, light-weight vests at the end of December after receiving a state grant to buy them in May.

Fire station #5 to close due to possible mold and asbestos concerns

The Laredo Fire Department is temporarily closing fire station number five for several months due to concerns of mold and asbestos. In the meantime, fire station number six, which is located on Maher Avenue will be taking the load off the station.
