Cobb County (GA) Fire Truck Hit by Bullet

Officials say a bullet hit a Cobb County fire truck as it was returning to a fire station in Marietta on Tuesday.

No one was injured when a bullet struck a Cobb County (GA) fire truck that was returning to a station in Marietta, according to reports.

Firefighters in the truck reportedly knew that something happened, but were not aware that the truck was hit by a bullet until they returned to the fire station.

Buchanan County (MO) Ambulance Damaged in Accident

A Buchanan County ambulance sustained heavy damage in an accident with a private vehicle Tuesday morning on Frederick Boulevard over the Interstate 29 overpass. No one suffered serious injuries in the accident, which resulted in traffic delays shortly after 6 a.m. until the scene was cleared after 8 a.m.

The ambulance was partially on its side on the pedestrian walkway while the car — a Kia Optima — appeared to sustain significant front-end damage. Both vehicles were partially blocking the eastbound lanes of traffic on Frederick.
