The crash happened just outside the city limits along Highway V near Hardin Road, the report says. Crews were responding to a mutual aid call from another department, officials say.

The fire chief and a firefighter were on the apparatus when it crashed, but neither was hurt. A section of the highway was closed to traffic, and a tow truck arrived to get the fire truck back up.

Officials think the driver got too close to the shoulder, overcorrected, and rolled the apparatus. There’s no word as to the damage of the truck.
