Sedan Sends San Antonio (TX) Fire Engine into Apartment Building

A sedan collided with a San Antonio fire engine that was responding to a call Tuesday night, and the fire truck was sent into an apartment building.

Luckily there were no injuries reported in the incident. The driver of the sedan fled the scene, though, KSAT reports.

Thieves Steal Park Hills (MO) Fire Department’s Brush Truck

The Park Hills Fire Department had its brush truck stolen from the station early Monday morning.

“[Monday] morning just before 5 am our 1986 red Chevy brush truck was stolen from the station. It was last seen on Front street towards highway 32. It has a light bar installed but not hooked up. It has Park Hills Fire and Rescue on both doors.

“If you have any information please contact the 911 center at 573-431-3131.”

Photos: Richmond (VA) Fire Department Says Goodbye to 113-Year-Old Station 12

How do you say goodbye to something that has been around for well over a century? That’s what the Richmond Fire Department has been tasked with doing, as its Station 12 is set for a makeover.

The facility, which will be replaced with a new building on the same site, was home to the department for the past 113.5 years, but it ran its final shift on March 29.
