New Mexico State Police chase stolen fire truck

VIDEO: A fire truck was stolen earlier this week in Corrales. Now, New Mexico State Police has shared video of the chase and the arrest that followed. Video posted by state police on Facebook shows the stolen fire truck heading west on I-40, a short time after it was stolen while responding to a medical call.

Fire destroys Silverdale home, garage-shop, boat

Several structures were lost to fire in Silverdale Aug. 20. Crews were working to fully extinguish a residential fire that was dispatched at 3:43 p.m. The home is located on Old Cedars Place NW and was fully involved upon the arrival of crews from Central Kitsap Fire & Rescue. The call was upgraded to a second alarm, and units from neighboring Poulsbo and Bremerton Fire also responded.

White River, Irving Peak fires have burned more than 2,000 acres combined

The White River and Irving Peak fires northwest of Plain have now burned a combined 2,000 acres as containment remains at 1 percent. The White River Fire has burned about 960 acres while the Irving Peak Fire is at 1,057 acres, according to incident command. The Irving Peak Fire remained active on Sunday, primarily spreading east along Wenatchee Ridge.

5 injured in hit-and-run boat collision on Lake Washington

VIDEO: The Seattle Fire Department responded to a report of two boats colliding on Lake Washington Saturday night, according to the SFD. At about 9:30 p.m., water rescue responded to a report of two boats colliding near the 800 block of Lake Washington Boulevard. Seven people from one of the boats were accounted for by 9:45 p.
