Fire Destroys Wenatchee Outbuilding, Damages Two Others

Fire destroyed a small structure and damaged two others Monday morning in Wenatchee. Crews with Chelan County Fire District No. 1 and Douglas County Fire District No. 2 were dispatched to the blaze in the 800 block of South Chelan Avenue around 7 a.m. Fire district spokesperson Kay McKellar says the fire occurred on a parcel with a house that had previously burned down and that the destroyed outbuilding had been occupied prior to Monday’s fire.

Firefighters save home from roadside blaze in Cashmere

Firefighters from multiple agencies responded in time to save a home from almost certain disaster at one point in Cashmere on Monday. Officials with Chelan County Fire District 1 say a fire broke out on a steep hillside just off of Old Monitor Road near the old bridge. The fire was reported at around 12:38 p.

Fire in Monitor Sends Smoke Onto Highway

Investigators are still trying to figure what caused a Monday afternoon brush fire near Monitor that sent heavy smoke across Highway U.S. 2/97 and burned close to new home construction. The fire was reported at 12:38 p.m. on land in the 5000 block of Old Monitor Road, and crews were able put much of it out within a half hour or so.

Second Annual ImageTrend Collaborate™ Research Report Now Available

LAKEVILLE, MINN. [June 14, 2022] – ImageTrend, Inc. is excited to announce the release of the second annual report as part of the company’s Collaborate research and analysis program. Volume Two of the Collaborate Report is three years (2019-2021) of retrospective analyses that encompasses nearly 24 million prehospital Emergency Medical Services (EMS) incidents across the nation. Freeport (NY) Fire Department Christens Custom Pumper

Sunday, village and Freeport Fire Department officials braved the elements at Patriot Hose Co. 4 to christen Unit 214, a 2021 Ferrara custom pumper.

“The members were extremely happy to have Honorary Chief Richie Grempel on hand for this dedication and christening,” a Facebook post reads. “We thank Mayor Kennedy and the Village Board for their steadfast support for our Fire Department and continuing to update our fleet to the state-of-the-art, newest apparatus. Thank you to all who attended today’s ceremony at the only firehouse located directly on Sunrise Highway on Long Island.”
