HARLINGEN, Texas – The City of Harlingen Fire Department has added a brand new 2022 Pierce Pumper to its fleet. A short ceremony was held Thursday to unveil the new truck and ceremoniously push it into the bay.
This pumper truck holds 750 gallons of water and includes a unique warning device that is the first of its kind in the Rio Grande Valley. The round, three-light siren affixed to the front center of the truck is an extra-loud and extra-bright warning, so that vehicles can see it from longer distances and move out of the way.
