AZ Man Steals Fire Apparatus, Drives to Target, Gets Arrested

The store does admittedly have great deals on many necessary household products. However, one AZ man took his love of Target to the next level Monday afternoon.

Indeed, KVOA reports that an AZ man was detained Monday after he allegedly stole a Tucson Fire Department (TFD) apparatus and drove it to one of the department store giant’s midtown locations.

Tucson police officials were dispatched to the 4040 N. Oracle Rd. location via a TFD request for assistance. Officials say the fire department reported a pickup truck taken a short distance away from the Target at which it was found.

The suspect was eventually detained with the help of some furry friends. No injuries were reported.

Whatsuptucson says on Twitter that it “started as a medical call on Stone near Pastime. Then guy steals Fire Truck, drive it to Target parking lot at Oracle and Roger. Then he went inside the store and was trashing the store. Took K-9 assistance but officers have him detained.”
