One person seriously injured in Spokane Valley trailer park fire

VIDEO: The Spokane Valley Fire Department responded to a trailer park fire that broke out near East Mansfield Avenue off North Pines Road Tuesday night. According to the fire department, neighbors reported hearing explosions around 9 p.m. and saw a 5th wheel fully engulfed in flames. When firefighters arrived they found the occupant of the 5th wheel on the front lawn with burns to his face arms and torso.

Homemade bee spray blowtorch lights Walla Walla house on fire

Firefighters responded to a house fire on July 15 reportedly started by a homemade torch. When fire crews from Walla Walla stations 1 and 2 arrived at the home at 1029 Willow Street around 10 p.m., smoke was billowing from all sides of the home and fire could be seen from a bathroom window, according to the WWFD.

Firefighters say cigarette started fire at The Viking restaurant in Spokane

Spokane firefighters believe a discarded cigarette caused a fire at The Viking restaurant near downtown Spokane on Tuesday morning. The fire was reported around 5:30 a.m. at the restaurant on North Stevens Street, just a few blocks north of the Spokane Arena. Photos and video from the scene show heavy damage to the front of the building including the entryway, deck, and siding.

Wallace Walker Road Fire in Franklin County now 560 acres, state fire resources mobilized

The Wallace Walker Road Fire in Franklin County is now burning about 561 acres, according to the Northwest Interagency Coordination Center. A wildfire near Kahlotus in Franklin County is burning 350 acres and threatening homes, causing state fire assistance to mobilize, according to the State Fire Marshal's Office.
