An Everett apartment fire that broke Wednesday afternoon is now being investigated as arson. The fire was reported around 12:30 p.m. at Hillcrest Estates in the 1000 block of 130th St. SW.
Neighbors found a little girl wandering outside and detectives are trying to figure out if her mom may have set the fire.

Nobody was injured and firefighters rescued a dog from a Wednesday afternoon apartment fire south of Everett.
Several people called 911 at around 12:30 p.m. to report a fire at the Hillcrest Estates in the 1000 block of 130th Street SW, according to Snohomish County Fire District 1.

When crews arrived at the complex they found smoke pouring out of the the windows of a second floor unit in the three-story, 18-unit building.

An employee housing building at Lake Crescent sustained heavy damage in a fire Tuesday night.
Clallam District 2 Fire-Rescue reported that it responded to the call for a structure fire at Lake Crescent Lodge at 6:51 p.m.
One of the employee housing four-plex units was on fire; the flames were reported spreading into trees and underbrush.
