Tow truck driving can be a dangerous job when workers are along the interstate cleaning up the scene of an accident or towing a vehicle away.
After the loss of Ross Booker, local tow truck drivers are asking if something can be done to make their jobs easier. Booker was killed by a 16-year-old after a Scott's Law violation in early March.

Calhoun County firefighters are looking to establish a firefighter training association to help standardize fire response protocols across the county.

A simple call to action from an Iowa woman has gone viral on social media.
Allison Marois made a TikTok in February asking for help for a gift she's working on for her father's birthday in August.
Her father, Bill Collins, recently retired after being a firefighter for more than 38 years.

There's damage from an early morning fire at Keyes Packaging Group on U.S. 97A north of Wenatchee At least three fire engines and numerous other responders were sent to the storage area of the business at around 3 a.m., where there was heavy smoke. The fire did not spread outside of the storage area, which is north of the business' factory and warehouse.

Firefighters with Clallam 2 Fire-Rescue knocked down an RV fire that threatened a structure as well as propane tanks.
No one was reported injured in the fire at 2105 W. U.S. Highway 101 — the site of the old Clallam County Humane Society — which was reported to firefighters at 9:29 p.m. Wednesday.
The RV was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived and was beginning to spread to the main building about 10 feet away, as well as to a nearby shed with combustible material.
