VIDEO: A fire at a Burien building that houses Department of Corrections (DOC) office space is being investigated as arson. Crews with King County Fire District #2 responded to the fire at 15111 8th Ave. SW on Monday. The King County Sheriff's Office, which is investigating the fire, said it was reported on the second level of the building.

VIDEO: Everyone is safe after a fire broke out in the Spokane Industrial Park on Monday. The Spokane Valley Fire Department (SVFD) received a report of heavy smoke coming from a building near Sullivan and Trent just before 3:30 p.m. Spokane Valley firefighters were on the scene within five minutes of the initial report and upgraded the call for more resources.

A Bellevue restaurant is closed for repairs after a car crashed through its entrance last Wednesday. The Swish Swish Hot Pot restaurant in Bellevue posted a video of the crash on its Instagram and called it “sudden and startling.” The video shows a car reversing into the restaurant’s dining area, crashing into a booth where people were sitting.

Crews are investigating after an elementary school in Mukilteo caught fire overnight. At around 7 a.m., the Mukilteo Fire Department (MFD) announced that their crews, along with several other agencies, had responded to a fire at Endeavor Elementary School near the corner of Double Eagle Dr. and Harbour Pointe Blvd.

Authorities found two deceased people and a dog, along with thousands of rounds of ammunition and multiple firearms in the rubble of a burned Sylmar home Sunday. Rounds of ammunition exploded as flames ripped through the home on Glenoaks Boulevard and some firefighters were concerned that someone was firing at them.
