The International Association of Fire Chiefs (IAFC), in partnership with Pierce Manufacturing Inc., announced the 2022 IAFC Fire Chief of the Year honorees. PHOTOS: The Everett Firefighters Association is asking for the public’s help to find its custom trailer that was stolen in late July. The association discovered the custom-built 1991 20-foot Garland Flatbed trailer was stolen from its meeting hall in the 2400 block of Hewitt Avenue in Everett. The trailer has faded red paint with gold-leaf pinstripes along its sides.

Crews said a fire burned a garage and spread to a home in West Seattle early Thursday morning. The fire broke out around 2:19 a.m. in the 4500 block of 23rd Avenue SW in the north Delridge neighborhood, near the playfield. Seattle fire said crews had water issues but were able to put out the fire using a nearby hydrant.
