Trussville (AL) to Build New Station 4

The city of Trussville (AL) plans to build a new Fire Station 4, reports trussvilletribune.com.

City officials say the new facility will incorporate a traditional look of red brick and stone to complement not only the stacked rock on the gazebo across from City Hall but also many architectural designs in the local area, the report says.

The plan—which pulls from the city’s 2040 Plan—is to move all fire administration offices together. The report notes that Trussville has received approval from City Council to look for the best course of action to build the facility.

Officials say some environmental studies have already taken place on the project, and they’re fairly certain everything should be a go—though some changes may need to be made.
