Sartell (MN) Fire Department to Take Delivery of $1.2M E-One Platform Before Year’s End

The Sartell (MN) Fire Department is set to take delivery of Tower 21, a $1.2 million E-One Platform truck, this month before placing it in service prior to year’s end.

The apparatus, which will replace the department’s current 1999 ladder truck, is a 100-foot aerial capable of holding several firefighters working from the platform at once, capacity its predecessor did not possess, officials say.

The truck is still being outfitted, and when it arrives it will join two engines, two grass trucks, an air van, two water tenders, and a rescue truck on the department’s fleet.
