VIDEO: Fire destroys restaurant in Idaho, three firefighters injured

A massive fire destroyed the Wolf Lodge Inn near Coeur d'Alene Monday. The fire was reported around noon and multiple fire trucks and ambulances responded. Firefighters upgraded to a four-alarm fire requesting assistance from Idaho Department of Lands, Idaho State Police, Spokane County, and Shoshone County.

County In Maryland Boosts Maritime Safety With New 50-Foot Fireboat

PHOTOS: The Anne Arundel County Fire Department officially welcomed the newest addition to its maritime fleet with the first of two state-of-the-art 50-foot Defiant NXT Fireboats on Tuesday at Sandy Point State Park. Representatives from Metal Shark, which manufactured the boat, delivered the first fireboat via waterways from Louisiana to Maryland.

String of brush fires burn throughout greater Spokane area

VIDEO: A string of fires burned throughout the Spokane area Monday. The largest fire was in the Dishman Hills and caused evacuations that were downgraded to Level 1 by 7:35 p.m. It was one of several brush fires with which the Spokane Valley Fire Department had to contend on Labor Day. Owens Road fire burns more than 100 acres of land in Benton County

PHOTO: Benton County Fire District 1 said the Owens Road fire burned 101 acres of brush in the Highlands area of Benton County Sunday afternoon. According to fire officials, fire crews responded to reports of smoke in the area of South Owens Road and SR 397 just before 2 p.m. Sunday. Officials said when fire crews arrived, firefighters found around four acres of "thick" vegetation burning.
