Officials are looking into what caused a two-alarm apartment fire Friday morning in Everett.
After 5:15 a.m., crews responded to a report of a fire at the Fulton Crossings Apartments at 120 Southeast Everett Mall Way. One of the neighbors told FOX 13 that his neighbor knocked on his door to wake him up.

VIDEO: The Spokane Valley Fire Department responded to a house fire when the roof collapsed while attacking the fire.
Around 3 a.m. firefighters responded to the 1100 block of North Tschirley Court with large flames coming from the roof of the house.
During the attack of the fire, the roof collapsed near seven firefighters who managed to escape the incident uninjured.

An RV caught on fire on Thursday in Kennewick, according to the Kennewick Fire Department.
At around 6:59 p.m., crews were sent to the 100 block of South Washington Street for an RV on fire that was spreading to nearby large trees. Callers also reported that a dog might have been in the RV.
KFD and Benton County Fire District 1 responded, knocking down the flames and controlling the fire nine minutes following the first unit's arrival.

As a massive plume of black smoke permeated the sky above Fort Wayne Wednesday, the blaze reminded some of a historic fire that happened in southeast Fort Wayne nearly 27 years ago.
On Aug. 30, 1997, a fire broke out at an abandoned tire warehouse on Bowser Avenue in southeast Fort Wayne. The fire happened less than a mile from Wednesday’s fire at the intersection of Wayne Trace and New Haven Avenue.

A national report indicates Kansas is one of the leading states for arson incidents.
Last year, there were 5,440 arson incident reports made to the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms (ATF). Kansas made up 6% of the nation’s arson reports with 307 cases. Kansas had the fifth most cases of incendiary fires in the U.
