Colorado Supreme Court ruled in favor of reverse-keyword search Denver Police used to track arson suspects

VIDEOS/PHOTOS: In a 5 -2 decision, the Colorado Supreme Court on Monday ruled the controversial reverse Google keyword search warrant utilized by the Denver Police Department to track down suspects involved in a house fire that killed a Senegalese family of five in Denver's Green Valley Ranch neighborhood in 2020 could be admitted as evidence and remanded “the case to the trial court for further proceedings consistent with this opinion.

Firefighters in Nevada will be responsible for racing week safety of F1 drivers, spectators

North Dakota fire department's haunted house returns with chills and thrills

If you take a wrong turn here this weekend, you could end up lost in a haunted corn maze, or worse - you could be chased by one of the creepy characters that lurk in the dark. The Belfield Volunteer Fire Department is putting on its yearly haunted house fundraiser on Main Street. “There's maybe one or two things that are the same, but everything else is completely different than it was last year,” Ashley Gross, volunteer firefighter said.

Interference with a firefighter or first responder now a gross misdemeanor in Lewis County

Attempting to physically interfere with a firefighter or intentionally hindering a first responder by disobeying a direct order in Lewis County can now result in up to 364 days in jail and a $5,000 fine. Lewis County commissioners unanimously adopted ordinance 1349 on Tuesday. It was suggested by Winlock-area Lewis County Fire District 15 Commissioner Randy Pennington, who learned in August that interfering with a firefighter or emergency responder was no longer directly against state law.

No injuries after house fire in Tacoma

A residential fire in Tacoma closed several roads as crews worked to put out the flames Tuesday morning, according to the Tacoma Fire Department. At about 9:11 a.m., firefighters responded to the reported fire in the 900 block of South Sprague Avenue. South Sprague Avenue, from 9th to 11th Street, was closed as crews worked to knock the fire down.
