VIDEO: Sailing on Chicago’s waterways on the Chicago Fireboat is a truly unique experience. The Fred A. Busse is a retired fireboat that was part of the Chicago Fire Department’s fleet till 1981. Built as a modern ship in 1937, the Fred A. Busse was a modern marvel, built with a lower profile to fit under the city’s bridges.

Minnesota Firefighter Out To Prove She’s ‘Tough As Nails’ On TV Reality Show Competition

Kalimba Edwards was in California for six months this summer filming the new season of CBS’s “Tough as Nails.” The show pits 12 people against each other in physical competitions that test strength, life skills and mental toughness.

Superheroes surprise young Virginia children's hospital patients

Fire destroys potato storage shed near Moses Lake

A potato storage shed near Moses Lake was destroyed by fire Wednesday afternoon. Firefighters from the Moses Lake Fire Department and Grant County Fire Districts 4 and responded to the commercial structure fire reported in the area of Road O Northeast and Wheeler Road, east of Moses Lake. Grant PUD had to cut power to the area to keep firefighters safe, affecting customers form Road N Northeast to Road Q Northeast and Road 3 Northeast to Road 5 Northeast.
