3 killed in Yakima crash, police say intoxicants and speed are to blame

Three people have been killed, and a young child severely injured in a Yakima crash Tuesday night. Yakima Police say they responded to the crash at 11:18pm at the intersection of 48th Avenue and W Nob Hill Blvd. According to investigators a 1994 Ford Escort driven by a 20-year-old Yakima man was speeding north on 48th, and ran the red light.

Clallam County Sheriff's Office investigating body found in burnt trailer

The body of a man was found in the burnt remains of a travel trailer in Diamond Point Monday. Clallam County Fire District 3 got the call about 4:15pm of a travel trailer fire at 176 Ironwood Drive. They arrived to find the trailer fully involved in fire. Assistant Fire Chief Dan Orr says after the fire was extinguished, an adult male was found deceased inside the trailer.

Huntsville Fire Department (Canada) Welcomes Fire Apparatus

The Huntsville Lake of Bays Fire Department has welcomed a new fire truck, reports MyMuskokaNow.com.

Shoreline Fire Department (WA) Holds Push-In Ceremony for Fire Apparatus

The Shoreline Fire Department held a push-in for its new pumper fire truck, reports Shoreline Area News.

The $800,000 Pierce Manufacturing fire truck was the second fire engine to enter service this week. The fire trucks were custom built and are part of mutual aid agreements with other local departments. This engine has upgrades to assist firefighters respond to calls and assures reliability in service for many years to come.
