Jared Kesler started painting stars on his grass and even carved an eagle into his front yard at his Edmond home. Tacoma fire crews battled a boat fire in Commencement Bay on Thursday. According to authorities, Tacoma police were the first to get to the scene after calls of a fire in the waterway in Tacoma. When police arrived, they found a 35-foot gas vessel engulfed in flames. They also found two people and a cat that had jumped off the boat into the water.
