The Casper-Natrona County airport now has a Oshkosh 6X6 striker, reports Wyoming News Now.
The fire department posted to Facebook, “We were fortunate to display our new Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighting truck alongside one of the original Army Air Base fire trucks (1942 Chevy) that was restored by the Friends of the Wyoming Veterans Museum. A bit of a change from 1942 to 2021!”
The fire truck has one hose that can spray up to 1,200 gallons per minute and another that can spray up to 1,500 gallons per minute. The arm at the top of the truck can inject a plane with water or foam, if needed.
