On Thursday, Washington state health officials reported a record number of new coronavirus cases. The Washington State Department of Health reported 15,157 new cases since Wednesday. This brings the state to 913,980 total cases, 46,752 hospitalizations, and 9,974 deaths. On Wednesday, Gov. The Spokane Valley Fire Department received a grant to help further their goal in making the SVFD Fire District safe for kids. The department received a grant from the East Region EMS and Trauma Care Council.
