A man was arrested Sunday afternoon after he struck the front windshield of a Miami-Dade (FL) Fire Rescue truck with a baseball bat, reports local10.com.
The attack, which cracked the apparatus’ glass and was caught on cellphone camera, occurred at the intersection of Southwest Eighth Street and 42nd Avenue. Officials say nobody inside the fire truck was injured.
A Coral Gables police official arrived at the scene first and took the man into custody, but the Miami-Dade Police Department is investigating the incident.
The suspect’s identity hasn’t been released, and there’s no motive for the attack.
