Healing with Horses: Arizona first responders get help through new wellness program

It has been a challenging year for all of us, but it has been especially hard for first responders and frontline workers who were struggling even before the COVID-19 pandemic. Now these heroes on the front lines of community service are finding help through a new equine therapy program in Tucson healing with horses.

Emergency responders in Pennsylvania honor lives lost working roadside and raise awareness of Move Over Law

Hundreds of emergency responders in Pennsylvania have been killed while providing roadside assistance. Beginning April 27, new changes to Pennsylvania’s Move Over Law will take effect to prevent future deaths. In July 2020, Tyler Laudenslager was struck and killed by a driver while providing roadside assistance in Berks County on Interstate 78 west.

CDC: 15% of U.S. Population Fully Vaccinated Against Coronavirus

More than 15% of the total U.S. population has been fully vaccinated against the coronavirus, according to data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. With more than 143 million doses administered, over 93 million people have received at least one dose of the vaccine and more than 51 million people have been fully vaccinated.

Two bodies found inside burned home in Union Gap

PHOTO: Fire crews in Union Gap have confirmed they have found at least 2 bodies inside a burned home. The fire erupted at about 3 a.m. Sunday at the house on the 2200 block of S. 5th Avenue. At the time, fire fighters were unable to get inside the burning home due to danger caused by the windy conditions.

Fire destroys mobile home, damages 2 others in Marysville

PHOTO: A fire destroyed a mobile home and damaged two others early Sunday in Marysville. Firefighters responded around 5 a.m. to a fire at Crystal Tree Village, located at 16600 25th Avenue NE. Officials said that the two people inside the home - a 35-year-old man and 17-year-old girl - got out safely.
