It was a first for first responders in Spokane County, as day one of a ten-day COVID-19 vaccination clinic kicked off on Monday.
"We feel confident that we'll be able to run all of our first responders who want the vaccine through this clinic," Mike Lopez, Integrated Medical Services Manager for the Spokane Fire Department, said.

Police have identified a suspected arsonist who torched a grocery store in Edmonds last month, but are looking for your help in finding him.
The fire broke out around 4:40 a.m. on Dec. 23 at the Firdale Village shopping plaza, according to Leslie Hynes with South Snohomish County Fire & Rescue. Two people were inside the store when fire started and managed to escape as several firefighters responded to the two-alarm call.

Sharing Wheels gifts local children bicycles
More than 150 Snohomish County children have new bikes this fall courtesy of Sharing Wheels Community Bike Shop and its supporters.
With help from more than 75 volunteers, the nonprofit new and used bikes for low income families this fall. About 100 bikes were matched with folks through the Everett bike shop, others were distributed through the Salvation Army, Dawson’s Place, Interfaith Family Shelter, Everett High School PTA and Domestic Violence Services.

VIDEO: A strip mall in Moreno Valley is partially destroyed after a fire broke out late Friday night. The fire started around 11:30 p.m. on Friday at Indian Street and Sunnymeade Blvd and fire crews spent several hours battling the flames.
As firefighters were working, part of the second story collapsed.

VIDEO: Most everyone would agree 2020 was a dumpster fire.
A town thought that a dumpster fire was, in fact, the perfect way to say farewell to the past year.
“Tonight, we’re basically just saying bye to 2020 in a different way,” Fire Chief Brett Ruff said.
“Tonight we are having a literal dumpster fire in Belen,” Mayor Jerah Cordova said.
