Another day of dead marine life surfacing in Biscayne Bay as the swath of suffocated fish appears to be spreading.
On Saturday, members of Miami-Dade Fire Rescue went out on the water to help the animals breathe. The effort was coordinated by Miami Waterkeeper after reaching out to Port Miami for use of their fireboats.

VIDEO: No injuries were reported Tuesday after a fire damaged a tank at a Pasadena refinery.
The fire was reported about 5:45 a.m. in an oil tank on the northeast corner of the property at Pasadena Refining Systems.
According to Bill Stephens, a spokesman for Chevron, the fire was extinguished about 6:30 a.

Wildland firefighters are now working to douse nearly a dozen new blazes across the Olympic Peninsula forests that were triggered by Sunday night's thunderstorms, officials said.
Currently, 10 new fires have been detected -- five inside Olympic National Park and five in Olympic National Forest, according to spokesperson Susan Garner.

The Taylor Pond Fire has grown to an estimated 34,792 acres as of late Monday night, according to the Southeast Washington Interagency Incident Management Team. They say the fire is now 25% contained.
Level 3 evacuations remain in place for Wanapum Village. No structures have been damaged at this time, according to firefighters.

Several fires burning southwest of Cheney have forced families to evacuate. Firefighters worked through Monday afternoon and said they’ve made progress.
Four fires started on Sunday evening near Williams Lake Road. One fire, the Rock Lake Fire, was quickly put out. The others continued to spread, including one that turned into the Badger Lake Fire.
