VIDEO: A fire that spread across 15 acres destroyed more than 3,500 rental cars at the rental car overflow area of Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) on Friday, Lee County Port Authority said. The cause of the fire remains under investigation. The Spokane Fire Department is starting a new story time series on Facebook for kids stuck at home, and their first reader was Spokane Fire Chief Brain Schaeffer. A firefighter suffered a burned hand Thursday evening as he fought a fire in Kent that burned two structures and left a house cat dead and a family of five displaced. Crews from Puget Sound Fire were called to a house on fire in the 15000 block of SE 274th Place in Kent just after 5:45 p.m., according to department spokesperson Joe Root.
