A Port Townsend man was injured after a propane gas explosion erupted while he was inside his RV.
East Jefferson Fire-Rescue (EJFR) firefighters responded to a report of a loud explosion at the 1500 block of 27th Street at 3:13 p.m. Thursday.
The firefighters arrived to find an RV that was smoking and badly damaged.

When you call 911. paramedics try their best to respond quickly, including those from Advanced Life Systems (ALS), one of two ambulance companies contracted by the city.
The other being American Medical Response.
15 EMS crews are stationed across the Yakima valley.
A Yakima city ordinance requires all of those ambulances to have paramedics on board.

West Richland Police and Benton County Fire District #4 responded to a fire that started spreading from a campfire around 1:30 p.m. Sunday.
According to Sgt. Drew Hendrickson, two juveniles between 10-15-years-old started a campfire in a desert-like area near Van Giesen Street and Belmont Drive. Capt.

The Spokane Fire Department announced it successfully installed 181 fire alarms in homes across the Garland Neighborhood on Saturday.
Firefighters said the installation was part of Fire Prevention Week, during which they installed the alarms in 85 homes.
Of those installations, firefighters said one of the homes belonged to 70-year-old Dan, a veteran who lives alone and only had one smoke detector in his living room prior to their visit.
